Alfredo pasta Recipe

   Here's a classic recipe for Alfredo pasta, which is creamy and rich:


Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (about 225g) fettuccine pasta (or any pasta of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream (whipping cream)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for serving)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce:

    • In a large skillet or saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add Cream:

    • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes until it starts to thicken slightly.
  4. Add Parmesan Cheese:

    • Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream sauce, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Combine with Pasta:

    • Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the saucepan with the Alfredo sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
  6. Serve:

    • Transfer the Alfredo pasta to serving plates. Garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  7. Enjoy:
