and how can it add 10 reps per
month to your business.
Social media marketing is exactly what it sounds like. It is
the art of marketing on social media sites such as Face
Book, Twitter, MySpace and Linked In. These are sites
where millions and millions of people go to socialize. Now
this can be very profitable if it is done correctly. One
thing to remember is that for the most part, people are
there to socialize, not be marketed to. They are there to
meet old friends and make new ones.

So now you say how is this such a great thing? People
don’t go to the grocery store to date either, but I’m sure
that more than one person has found a date there,
if they did it the right way. In this case there are so
many more choices. The best way that I have heard it

dating. You would not approach that person in the grocery
store or on a website site, give you’re your url, tell them
to go and look at it and get back to you if they want to
get married would? WOULD YOU??!! I sincerely hope not,
because you would not get very far.

You would get turned down a whole lot and probably even
get slapped a few times. Then you would go away telling
everyone that you can not find a date in the grocery store.
We all know that is not true. The problem was not that
you can’t find a date in a grocery store, the problem
was your approach.

Each one of the sites listed and hundreds of others are
different, so the approach would be different depending
on which site you were on. I find that Face Book tends
to have a younger crowd and a lot of them are technically
savvy already. The linked in crowd tends to be older and
more accomplished, so again the approach would be
different for each. The bottom line for all of them is to
take it slow. Introduce yourself, find some common
interests and then build a relationship before your
