The title of the world's smallest house can be a bit subjective because it depends on how you define "house" and what criteria you use to measure it. However, one notable contender for the title is the "Tiniest House in the World" located in Warsaw, Poland.
This tiny house, often called the Keret House, was designed by architect Jakub Szczęsny and built in 2012.
Size: The Keret House is incredibly compact, with a width ranging from about 122 to 152 centimeters (around 48 to 60 inches) at its widest point. It's so narrow that it's sometimes referred to as an "art installation" rather than a functional living space.
Design: The house is sandwiched between two existing buildings in a narrow gap, making creative use of limited space. Despite its small size, it contains a fully functional living space with a bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom.
Purpose: The Keret House was designed as an artistic statement to explore the possibilities of architecture in densely populated urban environments. It's not intended for long-term occupancy but rather as a temporary dwelling or an artistic installation.
